Each employer's own support letter decides its own half of the file. TN admission is tied to the employment described, so a professional taking two part-time American positions needs a letter from each describing professional duties within the listed occupation, and an employer added after admission requires a fresh application rather than an explanation at the counter.
Two employers means two letters and two separate professional positions
Hypothetical example: Bertrand is a social worker in Wickham and has been offered two part-time American positions at once, three days a week at a community mental-health agency and two days at a school district twenty minutes away. Only the agency has produced a letter. TN permits work for more than one U.S.
employer, but it does not treat two jobs as one: each position must be prearranged, each must be professional work within the Appendix 2 occupation, and each needs its own letter naming the profession, the duties, the worksite, the compensation and the period requested. The document that decides the school district's half of this file is the school district's letter, and it does not yet exist. Two further points follow from the same rule.
Because admission is tied to the employment described, taking on a third employer later is a new application rather than an amendment, and he should not begin that work on the strength of the first admission. And the Social Worker entry sets one credential rule, a baccalaureate degree, with no diploma-and-experience branch and no licence branch of the kind other entries carry, so a college diploma and sixteen years of casework will not reach it however warm the letters are. If either post is in substance programme administration rather than professional social work, that post falls outside the occupation, and no wording brings it back in.
